DIY Pom Pom Trim Curtains

I am in the process of doing a mini refresh on my great room and I really wanted curtains that were versatile and budget friendly.  As much as I loved all of the pom pom trim window panels I have been finding on some of my favorite go-to decor sites, the price tag pushed me right over my budget.  So here is what I did…I found some inexpensive white textured Nate Berkus sheers from Target and paired it with some black pom pom trim to create DIY pom pom trim curtains that cost less than $35.00 per panel while some look a-likes were as much as $139.oo per panel.  Ss I opted for the DIY version.  I had to order the panels from Target online in order to get the longer length.  I purchased the black pom pom trim from Joanns and made sure to purchase it while it was on sale and use a coupon too.  Oh and did I mention this was a no-sew project too?  Even better!!  So grab your glue gun and let’s go!!!!

I started by laying out each panel and using my hot glue gun to attach the pom pom trim to the sides of each panel vertically.

Hot glue sets pretty fast on fabric so I attached the trim in 4 inch segments.

Once I got to the ends I turned the trim over the end and secured it with a dot of hot glue and trimmed off and extra.  It was that easy!!  You can do both edges or just one.  I plan on doing both but I ran out of trim but in the meantime all of the inside edges are finished and look AWESOME!!

Hi. I’m in the process of redoing my office and will totally go with pom pom trim! What size pom pom’s did you use? They seem to be perfect — not to dangly, and not to small.
